Great vet clinic. Before I moved away from Perth they were my local vet that have looked after all my dogs & cats. First visit back there with my two new dogs. All the staff were really friendly & helpful. My vet was great, she took all the time I needed to explain the things I needed to get my pug back to full health. Very glad I’ve gone back to this clinic & it’s well worth the extra drive to be so confident that my dogs are getting the very best care available

Amazing Vet! My anxious Charlie is always treated calmly. They always provide options and don't force you to make a decision on the spot. I never wait more than 5 minutes and they are open weekends too! Charlie was required to get 2 TPLO surgeries for her cruciate disease, they recommended some specialists to help me make an informed decision, they worked alongside Animalius for referrals and medication prescriptions which was great!

BE WARY OF THIS PRACTICE ... with the lack of information and treatment, this is my primary concern for anyone visiting this practice to get their pet properly diagnosed. Lack of treatment provided for my 6+ year old rescue dog from RSPCA Malaga, who was prescribed ongoing ear ointment at more than double the dose of what Doubleview Vet then prescribed about a month after she was rescued.. this, I think, directly resulted in an infection not 5+ months later, which resulted in costly sedation etc etc. Not just that the treatment was expensive and could've been managed better, given a more professional approach, its the reluctance of providing information I'm mostly dissatisfied with from Doubleview Vet, because now with more knowledge, from the Gwelup Vet, of what is available for such a condition, I believe Doubleview Vet under-treated my dog for her ongoing ear issues. BE AWARE.

Kind, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. We got an appointment quickly and didn't have to wait long. I was recommended to come here by a friend and I was really happy with the service. The easy parking was a bonus too.

PLEASE DONT GO HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR BABIES!! I have wanted to write this review for some time now but feel sick everytime thinking about it. 5 months ago I took my young female healthy kitten into get spaded. When picking my girl up, she seemed to have a cough and consistent crackle noise while breathing that I noticed straight away but vet nurses said procedure was successful with no problems. I rang up shortly later concerned about her due to her breathing getting significantly worse, her tongue hanging out and breathing through her mouth. They said come in so we did straight away. Dr Gen saw her but wasn’t concerned and they were closing soon and they could just give her an antihistamine shot (my expense) to see if that helps and make sure she wasn’t allergic to anything. She was given the shot and went home. I stayed up all night with Maggie making sure she was ok. She didn’t get better nor was worse at this stage. After monitoring her throughout the day I took her back in to Dr Gen McMinn who did the procedure and eventually telling me and me consistently asking if anything went wrong in the procedure that Maggie woke up mid surgery and spat her breathing tube out and had to put it back down her throat and sedate her again mid operation. Dr Gen didn’t feel this was something I needed to know straight away. They were wanting me to pay an X-ray fee and sedation of $800 to see if there could be a torn throat due to inserting the tube incorrectly but mentioned it was extremely hard to identify. I was extremely distressed and agreed straight away that I just wanted to save her and could noticeably see Maggie was fading away. I sat and waited and after awhile I asked her if they had her in yet and they told me they were busy and Maggie was in a cage. This vet didn’t care for Maggie’s life and wasn’t showing any signs of wanting to save her. I made a decision to take her to Selby Emergency Vet ASAP. After a painful wait the Drs told me Maggie had fluid in Her lungs and needed to be kept in an oxygen chamber and there is high chance she wasn’t going to make it. They asked for $1800 up front which I agreed and paid and further costings later. After 2 days Maggie shows signs of making it through and I couldn’t be happier she survived. Kate Buffin the owner of Doubleview Vet told me that Maggie probably was sick before the procedure and that was the reason. Not because Dr Gen stuffed up the opp. My Maggie aspirated on the breathing tube causing fluid in her lungs as the Drs showed me and confirmed to me at Selby Emergency Vet Hospital. I might add I was 8.5 months pregnant and I’ve never have experienced nor heard of a more disgusting Veterinarian Center with horrible people at Doubleview. I’d stay clear of this vet if you love your fur animals as Kate Buffin showed no sympathy nor could admit they made a mistake and help pay for even part or help out for this whole ordeal. This whole operation cost thousands to what should have been only $350 I can’t thank Selby Vet enough for showing concern and acting on Maggie Straight away otherwise she wouldn’t be here today. I’d rate this minus stars if I could. Nightmares of this Vet for not only me but probably Maggie too!

I have used Doubleview Vet for my Siamese cat twice now and both times have been really happy with them. All the Veterinarians, nurses and receptionist are very friendly and are not judgemental at all. They are of course great with all the animals and seem to have lots of knowledge and both times have been more than happy to explain why they are recommending doing the treatment/ procedure they were. They also have a super cute resident bird 🥰
